    Bert, in a previous thread about the Winchester threaded barrel, would you mind telling what the give away is to it being non factory?
    Is a real one marked in some manner?

    Bert is gone to the Reno show & won't be online for a while so you might have to bump this thread, email him or wait til he gets back.

    just noticed that auction you posted ends in 2 days...hope other collectors can give you a price since most likely Bert won't be online. Its a nice box and has to make up a least a little since the old owner inscibed the gun with his name..hate when they do that[xx(]

    The rust on the barrel doesn't help it at all [xx(]

    My UZI has the guys name scratched on the reciever and mags too [B)]
    At least I could bead blast it and repaint it [^]

    In my opinion the box is worth more then the rifle unless you could find a rifle in great condition NO WAY would I give much for a abused and defaced rifle[V]

    The picture you posted of that table looks like Fred Sanford's table !
    Now, if there were L C Smiths instead of those parts guns displayed there, "Mr Narcosis" would have had a crowd there !!!!

    OK,

    To answer the orignal question, the box more than doubles the value of that rifle. In my opinion, the rifle & box are worth at least $800.
