AR-15 & LR-308 Sling Adapter- Same size?

Will an AR-15 receiver end plate sling adapter fit on the DPMS LR-308? Are the sling adapters the same size/specs? Several sellers are listing their adapter as being for either/both the AR-15 and the LR-308, can this be correct? Are the receiver ends and buffer tubes the same size so that the sling adapters are interchangable?

  If your stock is cutout for it, yes they will cross.
