Civil War Rifles - help please

BandR Firearms
Any help on price range / value would be appreciated! Civil war era rifles are not my specialty. All are mechanically sound and would fire.

First: Springfield 1873 Trapdoor
(Spyder7115 already helped me with this one... Thanks again!)

These are the ones I would like some help with:
Second: Springfield stamped 1863
Third: Spencer Repeating Carbine
Forth: Sharps Carbine

    It is unethical and impossible to quote values without seeing the firearms.

    I won't guess dollar values, just comment that the 1863 Springfield has been at least cut down from military rifle musket form for hunting. Maybe even reamed smoothbore as a shotgun.

    The Spencer looks complete and original, one of several different carbine models.

    The Sharps looks like a late 1863 without patchbox. Condition is very rough.

    Hawk Carse, Thanks. Yeah I know the 1863 Springfield is cut down, I am curious now to see if it was reamed out to a smoothbore. I will check when I get home. The Spencer I thought was to be complete also. The prices range so much on those! Hard to put a starting price on it. The Sharps has "been there and seen that". Condition isn't the greatest however someone will want it. Suprisingly, still mechanically good. Action is tight... I personally would never fire it though. Pretty neat firearms for there time.

    I'll throw my $.02 in as far as values.

    The Model 1863 as stated has been cut, and is in pretty rough shape. I'd figure it to be $450.00

    The Spencer looks to be in 1860 configuration, but looks evenly rusted. I'd put that one at $900-$1100.

    The Sharps looks to be an 1863 model, but is in relic condition. I would not consider it mechanically sound, or even think about firing it. Still looks good though (considering). I'd say $600.00

    They might be good for a low budget collector, or someone who wants a very cool wall hanger, but none of these would be something a serious collector would jump on or pay any big money for.

    Thanks for the input dcinffxva. I roughly gauged the price around there also for the value. I also agree with you. I wouldn't try to fire the sharps either, however it would be awesome in a "man cave" or even above a fireplace. The patina and wear on it is pretty neat. Well, I guess I'll see what happens. They will be posted on the auction side later on tonight!

    Post these over in the General Discussion Forum and title it "Shameless Plug". A lot of buyers lurk visit over there.

    Still, I think your opening bids are too high. JMO

    I'll watch for the Trapdoor.

    Thanks Spider, will do. The Trapdoor may be up tomorrow or Saturday. I have someone interested in it and will be showing it to them. I think they are a tire-kicker, but what the heck can't hurt. For pricing... I don't know. May be high, may be low, may be right where it is suppose to be. I can't really compare them to anything else out there. Well now that I think about it, you made me feel like I should lower them a little... so I did.
