Tapco Intrafuse AK 7.62x39 Mags?
Anyone using these Tapco Intrafuse AK mags? I have always stuck with the Soviet block steel AK mags with the back rib but these mags are pretty inexspensive. Any feedback on them? Thanks.

The only Tapco mags I'm familiar with, were the hi-caps that they made for the SKS. They had severe functioning problems. IMHO you would be better off using the surplus East Bloc military mags, even if they are more expensive. 0 -
I have used the Tapco's in converted Saigas and in Romanian AK's, with no problems whatsoever. I have them in both 20 and 30 round capacities. The 20's work better for shooting from the bench.
I've never tried a hi-cap magazine in an SKS that was ever anything but a dog, but I never got around to trying a Tapco. The SKS design being what it is, I think the original 10-rounders beat any half-azzed contraptions. One of the full conversions of an SKS to take AK mags, might be a different story.0 -
The Tapco mags work fine in my AK74. 0 -
I have had almost no trouble with the Tapco mags. I have some milled AK's and they fit well in some and not so well in others (to tight). In my stamped AK's they fit well and I have never had any feeding issues. 0 -
Thanks, Guys. I may have to try some out. 0
