Winchester 101

Did Winchester make a 28 gauge in the 101? If so, were they Japanese made? Thanks

  Does anyone have the thread specifications (metric?) for the 101 Winchester? Also need a source for replacements, front and mid-rib. I have looked in my all my books and have not found the info I need.

  You might also try Midwest Gun Works or Nuline Guns. Both have alot of 101 stuff. If you are replacing the beads, it would be very simple to drill and tap for American threads. Metric thread sights may be very hard to find. Brownells Gunsmithing catalog has everything you would need.
