Need opinions for R-Guns AR-15 lowers
Here is the one I was looking at:

I've had them send me ad flyers before, but the upper I was considering from them was out of stock. (I went BCM instead, by far the BEST thing I ever have done AR-15 wise) I don't know anyone personally who has used their stuff, however.
I would hazard a guess based on other similar "hobby gun" AR lowers I have from Stag, Aero Precision, Bushmaster, etc., and even the ones that I've seen that are made of plastics, that if you're not planning on a deployment to a miserable place where the gun will be "mil-spec abused and beyond", and instead will use the AR-15 for what the vast majority of owners do with our "hobby guns", the R-Guns lower you're looking at will do everything you'll ask of it.
If the price is right, I'd say go ahead and make the buy. The USMC logo makes it neat.0 -
nothing wrong with them 0 -
They are fine and good to go 0 -
I bought several and got consecutive serial numbers(one of which happened to be my birthdate). Son and I bought more and he picked them up as he passed near R-Guns location.
I found no significant difference between the ones R-Guns is selling and several other brands(except cost). All accepted milspec parts kits w/o issue and end result was functional.0 -
