.454" bullet in .452" bore

Hi, can I use a .454" bullet in a .452" revolver barrel? The reason I ask is that I have a Colt revolver with cylinder throats of .458" with a barrel with a bore of .452". I would like to get the best accuracy I can. This question is on the other forum too but have not got a answer. Thanks

  Lead? no problems, it'll swage down just fine. Watch jacketed bullet pressures, but again, should not be an issue. The .458" throats to a .452" barrel? IMHO I bet it's not gonna be that great accuracy wise, as the bullet has a bit of leeway between the case mouth and the barrel to yaw and hit the lands cockeyed.
  
  I suggest you shoot a lot of handloads with different powder charges of your favorite brand, and find the most consistent one.
