Crimson Trace compatibility
I have an EAA Astra A100 and have been looking at the Crimson Trace LG-429 Laser grip. That model is made for the Sig 228, 229. It sure looks like it could fit the Astra. Has anyone ever discovered it does...or does not for sure?

You might consider contacting the customer service folks at CT. Get their e-mail or phone off their web site.
Astra has been out of business since the 90's. I wouldn't bet their grips would be compatible with any modern guns.0 -
You can *try* contacting Crimson Trace, but I think its pretty likely they'll just say "we don't make grips for Astra pistols" and they won't have a good answer for you.
As you suggest, the Astra is basically a clone of the SIG (as least externally) and its at least conceivable that this could work. Note that mags do NOT interchange between SIG and Astra, and neither will most internal parts. I kind of think that grips won't interchange either, but I can't say for sure either way.
One thing you might try is just take the grips off your Astra and see if they fit on a friend's SIG (or vice versa). Or maybe even take the ones off your Astra and compare side by side to Sig grips. If so, there is some reasonable chance the Crimson trace ones will fit.

Edit: Looking closer at the two pictures, where is the mag release on the Astra pistol? That could be a "deal breaker".0 -
For a less expensive attempt, find a used pair of Sig grips on the auction side, and try them on your Astra. if they fit, then get the CT grips.

No way.
There are several variations in Sig grips, so just swapping within the Sig model number is often not possible.

The same holds true for the EAA Witness and CZ75 on the real guns they interchange but according to Crimson Trace the Laser grips don't. 0
