Looking for Formula for Ultra Sonic Cleaner
Any one have a good cleaning formula to share for cleaning small gun parts/empty brass in ultra sonic cleaner? Not necessarily one formula for both..

Does your ultrasonic cleaner have heat too? If so, here is an organic cleaner that will cut grease, crud, and oxides.
Go to the pharmacy, and get your self a container of granulated citric acid. Add to boiling water, at the rate of around 1 cup(of granulated citric acid) per half gallon(water). This works best between 120, and 160 degrees F.
You may rebottle it after it cools for storage, or add it directly to your ultrasonic cleaner.

Yes my ultrasonic cleaner has heat too... I do not know what took me so long to discover an ultrasonic cleaner.. Sure makes cleaning easy....

Might give Simple Green a try also. It's nontoxic and pretty much cleans and degreases everything. I also use it on ants, spiders and all kinds of bugs. They will mostly go belly up with just one squirt. 0 -

Good information if you want your brass spotless. For us folks that are severally challenged patience wise, not so good unfortunately. Personally I could never see the point of folks who wanted their reloads with mirror finish brass. All I want is to get the range crud and dirt off mine for plinking, not trying to impress all the other folks on the firing line.0 -
