Savage 112 Stock

I picked up an older Savage 112 single shot in 25.06 for a very good price and it's a great shooter, it came with the standard walnut stock. Nothing wrong with it but I'm considering switching out to something more comfortable. The Savage 112 BVSS stock is OK, I can't seem to find spares. I'd also go for an aftermarket laminate of similar style - high comb, broad forend and fairly vertical grip. Any suggestions on where to find? I'm not seeing alot out there?

  Boyds is the OEM for the Savage stocks

  I have had great luck with Richards Microfit, great service and innovative designs with fantastic wood. Give them a look:

  It has gotten so bad that when someone buys a new rifle in my family we don't ask if the rifle is going to be re-stocked, we ask if they are going to put a Richards on it.

  Boyds doesn't make the type of stock I'm looking for, at least they don't show it. I thought about the Richards but they're unfinished. I was hoping Stocky's had something but no go.

  If you're not looking for wood I would suggest Choate or Bell & Carlson. Stockade stocks also does really nice work.
