First bow kill

She was about 35 yards away. When I hit her she started bleeding like you turned on a faucet. She walked about ten yards and then laid down. Her head was bobbing and I knew the loss of blood was affecting her bad. Shot her once more time just to try and end it faster. Public land kill of course.

  Guess I'm not the only one to start bowhunting "later in life". Congrats on the doe.
  I donated the first two to the food pantry but we put the 3rd in the freezer yesterday. Definately a different butchering experience vs all the damage done by bullets.
