The picture when sent here is small? It has the double crown proof mark B crown over the U crown with a S crown next to the B crown and then next to the U Crown is the 44 with the circle around it. Below all that is the 78.41 and below that is 10.07 (which is the date of the gun i believe oct 1907) and below that is 16 \. Further down is the number 14 which also appears on the trigger guard (assuming that is the assembly number). Thanks for your help lastly on the outside of the gun on the octagonal part of the barrel is 2gr NGP and below that is 12 gr BI. I assume these are powder and lead weight? not sure.Thanks again. 0 -

IMHO, nothing can be added that hasn't been already covered.
If you want additional information you might consider posting to some shotgun specific web sites. Because of the firearms laws in Europe, the collecting of older shotguns is quite popular over there. A number of European collectors frequent the "Shotgun World" and the "Double Gun Journal" forums. They might be able to provide you additional information on your garden gun.0 -
