Glock 35 or Springfield XDM 5.25
I'm going to get my first 40 S&W and have narrowed it down to these two. I also considered the Taurus 24/7 long slide. Which would you prefer and why? Please be specific. Thank you.

This probably won't be much help,I have the xdm 5.25 in 9mm and a glock 24 in .40,has a 6in barrel,it is a gen 3.The xdm has red and green front sights that you can change in a few minutes,I like that option alot. The glock feels better in my hands, but Iam more accurate with the xdm,but thats me not the gun.Trigger is better on the xdm.
Glock mags are cheaper by about 10 bucks. The xdm was 50 bucks cheaper, probably because it's a 9mm.I like shooting both, but my vote would be the xdm.Good Luck!0 -
Neither! Got rid of my XD, G35 is my back up, and I use a M&P 40 pro for competition. For a striker fired double stack that will make "major" its the way to go. 0 -
I'm partial to Glock myself. I wish they made the 35 in a compensated model. I had a 24C with the factory 3.5 connector, that was a sweet shooter. 0 -
Not going to be much help here. I own an XD45 and a Glock 9mm...love them both. The XD is my everyday carry gun, eats everything I've ever fed it and has never jammed. Glock is a great shooter and again eats everything it's fed. I don't think you can go wrong with either. 0
