    Numrich has them listed, but sold out. Their is two different versions for the 16 gauge shotgun. They have them listed as early and late.

    You might see if you can get the parts from a 16 gauge Remington Model 11, or a Browning A-5 to work for you. There should be a good supply of those.

    These guns had two rings. There was a steel ring that was flat on one side and had a reverse taper on the other. Then there was a quite wide split copper ring with a spring steel cover--the copper part was tapered on both ends. From your description, I'm guessing you're missing the copper ring? It was common for nimrods to take these guns apart in the field and lose those rings in the snow! I loaned my 20 gauge to a guy I worked with and it came back missing both rings!
