Weapon Parts Drawings
I can not find source of parts or a good parts diagram or drawing for the Armalite AR-18/180?
Anyone know where I might find parts or at least drawings to make them?

maybe the US patent office.0 -
That's 180B conponents. Different animal from the original. I tried the patent office already, no joy. For some reason, this rifle is hidden from the public. 0 -
Try this from Gunparts Corp

Patent drawings are usually 'thin' on dimensions.
What you need to find are the actual engineering drawings that Armalite used to make/check the parts. Those are often proprietary information.
With the availability of 3D scanners and 3D printers old/broken parts can be pieced back together, scanned and models made for casting.
Or, the parts can be scanned, converted into CAD data and cutter paths made to make CNC parts from stock.
If I can assist, drop me a line. I have access to CAD programs and an engineering machine shop.0
