Proper loading sequence for Traditions ALS 2100
Any one know how to properly do it, Instructions are unclear. It is my junky duck gun and I frequently get failure to feed. This has a shell carrier button which releases a shell. It is a factory 3 shot. I drop one in the chamber and close the bolt then load 2 into the magazine. Should I now hit the lever to release a shell from the mag to wait on the carrier to load after the shell in the chamber is fired or do I leave both shells in the magazine tube. I've tested it both ways, leaving and dropping and on several tests it worked properly both ways. Which is right. If i recall beretta 303 series had the same type of carrier release. Anyway I know it's a lower quality gun but it seems well made for what I needed. It was NIB when I got it. It may never resolve the FTF but I'd sure like to understand the proper way to load it

When you GOOGLE "Traditions ALS 2100 manual", the owners manual comes up in PDF format. I took a quick look at it. It gives instructions on loading. 0 -
I have the manual but the way it jumps around I assumed it was written wrong possibly. It seems the proper way is for the second shell to be on the carrier. We'll see tomorrow when I go duck hunting. I;ll bet I get a failure to feed although. 0
