Benjamin 310 BB Gun

Bought it at a yard sale few years ago. Looks good almost all the nickel plate is good except wear areas where the cocking handle rests, etc. Wood is also VG. Holds air over night and shoots good.
Apparenly used quite a bit because the holes where the cocking lever pivots are egged about .030".

Would like to know when it dates from and approx what price I should start it at on GB auction.

  There is no s/n on my Benji 310, so from the ref site it was made in the 1940-1973 period. Thanks, more than I knew before.

  I looked over my well worn 317 no numbers on it either. Still holds air from the last time I rebuilt it.

  Not that it means much but I pumped it six strokes and it shot a BB two diameters deep into soft pine, range 12 feet. Pumped it again six and 20 hours later about 1 1/2 diameters. Probably within variables of wood grain density, my pump stroke force, etc.
