Need help with a Browning Serial Number.

I have a Browning A5 16ga. Belgium made with a "suicide" trigger safety. Now I'm trying to figure out the history of this gun so I can list it. The serial number is 78657J. According to the blue book, this would make this a 1929 built shotgun. However, I don't know what the "J" means, and I feel this could change the date of manufacture for this shotgun.

The Browning website that gives dates of manufacture doesn't show this.

  Browning now offers letters for @40 USD. Should clear it up.
