1886 Locking Lug

I have a 86 that looks like someone goofed up the link pin\bushing. They drilled out a piece of it on the right lug and then filed down the bushing? Question is can I replace the right lug only or do they have to be done in pairs and does it have any impact on head space or such?

  If you have to even ask that question, then Doug Turnbull is the man, and Turnbull Manufacturing is the company, that you need to send this to, to be repaired.
