There are 3 different Rem 1100 20ga frames, Standard, LT, and LW. The "Standard" frame is pre '77, and is a 20ga built on a 12ga frame.
To add to that confusion, there is a Special Field LT that has a forearm unique to that model, and a straight butt stock, no pistol grip.
A 12ga butt stock fits the 20ga Std frame, but the forearm has a huge gaps on the sides of the barrel, and rocks side to side.
You need to ID which one you have, the LT and LW should be stamped on their barrels and frames, if you don't see that, it's likely a Std. frame.0 -
Thanks the gun has no lt or lw on the receiver or barrel, is a 2/3/4 only, and the serial number starts with a L and end with an X . And mauser, they have for sale places on that site. I have a WW2 Nazi I want to sell. 0 -

The "X" indicates ytour receiver is what is known as a "Standard" frame...It's full sized and 12 Ga. buttstock will fit...As stated above you will need a Standard weight 20 Ga.forend to have a snug fit...
