Montana gold bullets

Anyone here use them and what is your opinion of them? I am most interested in the .380acp jhp 95gr. bullet. Thanks.

  There descent bullets. The jackets of the ones I used awhile back appear to be more brass then copper, hence the name.
  
  Because of this it's questionable if the bullets would expand to any great degree at .380 velocities. This is just my personal opinion, nothing factual to back it up.

  I load that exact bullet in my Ruger LCP and it works flawlessly.
  I load right near max with HP38 and it cycles every time.

  +1 to Topkick. I load the FMJ bullet for my Colt Mustang and have never had a problem. Good bullets at a good price.

  They are great bullets for plinking, and such. I don't trust but only Hornady, and Barnes for hunting, and personal defense.
  
  Yes, they do have jackets that appear to have a higher zinc content, which would make them brass, and brass colored. Brass is a high percentage, copper bearing alloy, usually 75% copper, or more, depending on which type of brass you have, and there are sevral, just like steel, and aluminum alloys.
