    under mfg. i would put essex. off to the side you could make a note about the slide if you want. can't mess up with TMIF

    Essex since the serial numbers what's "important".

    The receiver IS the gun; everything else is just "parts".

    You are a dealer, aren't you? If you are a C&R licensee, an Essex shouldn't be entered in your bound book.

    Neal Is correct An ESSEX frame is not 50 years pld Thus your pistol is NOT a C&R fire-arm. I would delete your post If it were me . Or if you Bought it Face to Face from someone that lives in your state. I often did this years ago , then you really don't need to put it in your BOOK at all
