Mauser stamped T-98

I have a mauser stamped T-98 with a factory barrel.It hade the name of manufactor on the barrel and was a NY based company that is defunct now.I duracoated the gun and can't read the name any more.Can any one tell me the name of Company? 7X57 cal

  Ludwig & Lowe? Mauser Wffenfabriken? You'd have to clean off the duracoat to actually get the name, there were several manufacturers.
  
  BTW, I think the name you saw on the barrel is the name of the Importer, not the manufacturer. CAI is Century Arms International They imported Mausers from all over.
