any FN High power German markings experts
This is a FN very very good i am thinking about buying it
All matching #s and matching holster.... best I can tell is serial # 43774 from the pic i have of it... what would be approximate worth all original
ONE more question is did this have plastic or wooden grips
was told it dates around 1942

If you could post close-up quality photos for positive identification, it would be best.
1942 would date it to the German occupation of Belgium. The proof marks would be German rather then Belgian.

EDIT #1, Brown Bakelite grips were first used on German High Powers early in 1944.0 -
i guess Belgium is incorrect .. it does have german/nazi markings I know that for sure
since i dont have it in front of me this is the best i can do right now
it does have bakelite grips/stocks is that correct for the period...and to cut to the chase would it be worth 650.00 IYO

Hard to call without quality photos? If the holster has the German Waffen Amt inspection markings etc. It might be worth it? Seems like pretty much top dollar though.0 -
if the mags have a small german Waa mark the mags are worth a bit 0 -
The pistol looks correct and the Nazi HP holster should also be marked.
Barring any defect you haven't noted the pistol is priced slightly under market.
The bakelite grips are correct. I've had a couple of Nazi marked HP's that had them. Be careful as they will break if dropped. For the fellow looking for a front sight, check Marstar in Canada.0 -

the holster is correct but not the mag as i have learned it would be much more with the correct mag...thanks i like a deal a little better than slightly under[:D][:D] dont we all0 -
Need a S/N suffex ( a small case letter) to get the DOM.
I have 4 German occupation HPs and all have wood grips.

a mag with aluminum follower and the split tail base is also correct 0 -
About 319k FN35's were produced for the German military so they are not rare. All produced have one of three Waffenmarks on them which helps date the pistol. Without closeup's hard to tell value. The "matching" holster could be worth as much as $150 or so, but again need closeups and waffenmark...and I have seen much better holsters. I would say the price you have been quoted is on the highside a bit. As to grips all the ones I have seen have wooden grips although that is not to say there were not bakelite grips produced at the end before the plant was shutdown. From the photo you have provided I see no tanget sight which was dropped about halfway in production (145k or so) so that would make this one a later production...probably '43 or so. These pistols were very popular in the German military, especially in the SS. The price quoted is in the ballpark IMO....but need to go over it and find those waffenmarks. Hope this helps[:)] 0 -
Any idea as to where to find a front sight for a Nazi marked HiPower ANYONE? My dumba%^ son took mine out (out of 3 he chose the only German Nazi marked one) to shoot and LOST the front sight in a hay field!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot find a front sight ANYWHERE! 0
