H&R model 950

I think this is basically the nickel plated 949. The question is, in the same condition does the 950 generally bring more than the 949 and if so about how much added value is there? I can find completed auctions on the 949 but not the 950.

A man wants to trade one to me for a muzzle loader for his son to use this year. I want to be fair and get his kid into the ML.

  The blue book shows $10 extra. I never liked nickle gun especially ones that were flaking. Nice of you to help a kid out.

  Thanks, the man was talking like the nickel was worth more than it is and I couldn't see it.
  
  I'm not much on nickel either, but if it shoots well I'll keep it for plinking and to have when starting kids shooting. I'll throw in some powder, bullets and caps so the kid has everything he needs to hunt this year[;)]
