Ithaca Flues 4E
Over the weekend, I acquired a 1918 Ithaca Flues Grade 4E. Is it safe to shoot low base loads or do I need to use something like RST or Polywad loads for antique guns. The firearm has 2 3/4 inch chambers and is choked cylinder and modified.

It should be perfectly safe to shoot low base or standard pressure loads (but no steel shot) of the proper length in a Flues Model as long as it is fine mechanical condition. 0
