Winchester 1873 DOM ?

Friend just took in a Winchester 1873 from an estate. Very nice shape- .32 WCF, round barrel, sn 124048. Any idea on a date of manufacture? No rust, good bore, wood in good shape, no cracks, bluing gone to a nice even brown- any idea of a BALLPARK range of values? Yes, I know, need pictures.

  Mid 1883. Does it have the proper dust cover? Is the ram rod in the stock? Are the sights original? If so, what sights? Are there any special order features on the rifle? What is the barrel lenth/ Is it a full magazine, or half mag.? All of these items affect the value.
