    Well, yes, that means it doesn't matter much.

    "Pre-64" Winnies were made with forged & milled small parts. Anything later has stamped parts, due to their program to reduce manufacturing costs. Last week I saw a NIB pre-64 M94 on the auction side that had a bid at $1,500, don't know the final price.

    But, as long as it is pre-USRA, then it is still a real Winnie.
