SW45 (MP5 clone) hammer spring guide
Hi guys, I have a Special Weapons SW45, an MP5 clone in .45acp. I racked it last night, and the hammer spring guide broke. One of the ears snapped off. In searching around it looks exactly like an original MP5 spring guide, I was wondering if I can use the MP5 part in the SW45? I am not too familiar with these guns, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would expect the .45 model to use a heavier spring than the 9mm. If you could find one for the long discontinued 10mm version of the MP-5 it should work. 0 -

Would the spring guide be the same though? The spring is fine, it's the post that goes inside it that broke an ear on the attachment end.

The spring guide is the same. Call Mike Turner at Turner fabrications, I'm sure he has one for ya. 0
