What is the current market price of a 1100 rd. case of Norinco 7.62x39 ammo? It is in the wooden case.....with two spam cans.

The stuff in the spam cans might be the early import, Chinese military, corrosive primed, ammo with copper washed/plated cases. This stuff is worth more then the other commercial ammo in the gray boxes. Gunshow commandos love the early military stuff because it has a steel core and has been banned from import and commercial sale by the feds. I believe it is also verboten for private sale in some of the commie States.

Check out the actual selling prices on the auctions to see what both types of the ammo are going for now. Don't open the spam cans as they would go for more money then if the ammo was sold in individual quantities. The Chinese military stuff in the cans isn't boxed. It's packed on SKS stripper clips wrapped in brown paper.

Norinco 7.62x39 in 20 rd green and white boxes has same headstamp as spam can rounds.

rufe is right on with his description, the ammo in the cans is corrosive. I have a bunch of both. The Norinco ammo has not been imported for years so is hard to find. You could probably get a minimum of $400 per case.

I bought one spam can of it a couple of years ago for $225 and thought I got a good deal on it.
