Posting photos is NOT WORKING...HELP...
Photobucket has 6 catagories for posting a picture:
---Email & IM
---Direct link
---HTML code
---HTML thumb
---IMG code
---IMG thumb
=================
I have tried all 6 and can NOT post a pic in my auction...suggestions? I HAVE NO PROBLEM POSTING PIX'S ON ANY OF THE OTHER 15 SITES I am connected to...JUST GB gives me heartburn!

Hold your mouse over IMG Code( don't push anything at first), then right click once.
It should say copied.
Now, go back to GB.
Right click next to cursor to paste picture.
Go to preview and click on it to be sure it worked.0 -
Works for me.

OK......if you are going to upload a photobucket picture you have to use the "BASIC UPLOADER"
When you get to the part where you are adding pictures you will probably be prompted to the ADVANCED picture uploader.....at the top of the screen in green letters click on the words Basic Uploader and it will take you to the old way we did things.
About halfway down the page you see the little boxes to put your links in......you have to scroll down to the SECOND set of boxes to upload URL links.
When you go to photobucket you will pick the second option....it is the "DIRECT LINK" option.
**This is the goofy part*** On Gun Broker's photo uploader...In the boxes you will see there already is "http://" You have to take that out....you want the box to be clear when you put your link in.
Once you go to photobucket you LEFT CLICK on the option you want (which is Direct Link, the second one)....this will make it FLASH and say "copied"
Go back to Gun Broker and right click on the cleared out URL box....then "paste" your link there.
I hope this helps!!!0 -
**Sorry....I didn't know I was logged in as "Reelspeed" It is me, Kasey
That is how you upload URL pictures from Photobucket to an auction. Don't worry if your pictures look HUGE when you upload them. The Gun Broker system will automatically resize them, but sometimes it takes a minute or two.0
