stock bolt lock washer and stock bolt washer

I need a Rem 760 stock bolt lock washer and stock bolt washer. Gunparts wants $6.60 for each!! What is so special about them?

  Wow I can see the $7 for a 8" good bolt, but the washers are about $6 each over priced.

  Go to you local hardware store and see what you can find.

  You can find a length of threaded rod for that kind of money at your local hardware..

  Forget Ace or home depot.
  Go to a Speed shop or high performance engine shop.
  They will have black grade 8 hardware. Bring the bolt with you.
  IE.. 3/8" header lockwashers look like they belong on a gun.

  Every speed shop has stuff like this laying around, most will give away
  "old" hardware to you.
