ID pistol?
I have a J Stevens 22 lr pistol single shot, the barrel is half round and half octogon, the Barrel is @4" long. ON top of the barrel it is stamped J Stevens A&T CO Chicopee Falls Mass USA.
The receiver is nickel plated and at one time barrel was blue. Thier is a serial number on the barrel which is 29549.
What i am looking for is a model for it? And appx when was made?

That is a short barrel for a Stevens single shot.
Does it have a spur trigger or a trigger guard?
If a spur trigger it might be the No 41 1898-1902 or the Tip Up No 41 1903-1916.

Just a guess without seeing it but it sounds like a Stevens Model 41. Made around 1910. 0 -
