Remington "Pardner"

Anyone have any experience with the Remington "Pardner" shotgun. I hear its a Chinese clone of the 870 but it doesn't look like it to me. Wal-Mart has the 870 Tactical for $347 and the "Pardner" for $199. I'm leaning toward the 870 but saving money is a bit of a passion with me, too.

  the pardner was originaly an H&R named chinese gun till rem took over..the savage/stevens model 320/350 guns are chinese made too

  In this case, avoid the asian models, and go Green...Big Green, as in the good old, tried and true, most used in Law Enforcement, shot gun in the world...The Remington 870. If it does not have to be new, then there are tons of deals on the auction side.
