I am looking for bottom metal for a post 64 m-70 long action. does anyone make steel ones at a reasonable cost?

Reasonable, is kind of like, "how long is a rope"!!! There is an outfit in Prineville, Or. that make all kinds of bottom metal. When I think of their name, I'll post it. HAWKSHAW

Brownell's stock all kinds of all steel hardware like you are looking for. pricewise, the sky is the upper limit, and they are not inexpensive as far as starting price goes.
