P38 Walther

I have a WW2 German P38 pistol, zero series, serial No. 05XXX. Any way to know when this was built? I'm trying to find it a nice holster made in the same year if possible. I believe this pistol is of the third zero series. Thanks

  Between '38 and '40 if memory serves.

  Blue Book says all the first three Zero series guns were made in 1940.
  Not the best reference but all I have to go by.
