browning b-2000 ?

will the browning b-2000 chambered for 3" shoot low brass 2-3/4" shells and function?

  My 20g.cycled everything I threw at it. Haven't owned a 12 though.
  Was my primary waterhole dove gun for a few years, cycled alot of
  low brass through it.

  I had owned the B-2000, it would only cycle with 3" shells and I recalled using 2 3/4 magnums and they wouldn't cycle also. I sold it because every other fired shell would catch lengthwise in the ejection port.
