Winchester Carbine rear sight

I bought a Winchester Model 94 carbine in .32 special, manufactured in 1900. It has no rear sight but does have the dove tail. I have a sight I intended to put on it but it is too long. The dovetail is pretty close to the receiver. Does anyone know where I might get a sight that will fit or even what to ask for. Your help would really be appreciated. Thanks.

  If you look over at the auction side you can probably find an original Winchester ladder sight that most carbines of that era came stock with. If you don't want to go that route, Marble Arms still makes the shorter 1 7/8" rear sight that should work on your rifle (the sight you have is probably 2 3/4"). Brownells or Buffalo Arms both carry Marble sights.
