colt 32 auto 3 rd edition

I have a colt 32 auto 3 rd edition and I need to find what ammo was made for it, what do I look for on the head stamp or what is the company to go to. I have looked at different gun shows and asked but no one seems to know for sure any help will be appreciated Thanks

  .32 ACP is what you need.. Very common.. Shouldn't have been any problem at a GunShow..

  As Hangfire said- .32 ACP, also known as .32 Auto. NOT .32 S&W, 32-20, etc. Most gun shows and any decent local gun shop will have it.

  Well...maybe. You failed to give us a detailed description of your pistol or photos, so we may have been misled.
  
  We are assuming that you have Model 1903 Pocket in .32 ACP, but these pistols were also made in .380 ACP. You may have a "Type III", or you may not, depending upon the serial number; there is no "edition".
