Scope for 460 S&W
Will a Eotech 557 sight work on my 460 S&W? It is a 12" barrel Performance Center with a top rail. I bought the sight for something else and didn't use it. Any other suggestions for other scopes?

I recently purchased a 460 XVR with the 10.5 inch barrel. I have heard these guns are hard on scopes, I am considering a Burris because of the warranty and good things i have heard. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks. 0 -
No experience with the Eotech but a friend and I both have Leupold VXIII 2.5-8 EER scopes on our 460s. They seem to hold up well under the recoil although I don't shoot it all that much. . .just don't find that big a revolver all that much fun to lug around and while the blast and recoil gets lots of attention at the range it isn't real pleasant. I think if I was doing it again I would put a fixed 2X or 4X either Leupold or Burris on it. 0 -
