Savage 29, 29A, 29B

Anyone tell me what the difference is between the Savage 29, 29A & 29B .22 pump rifle? Any info is appreciated. Terrill

I have a 29B, at least that's what it is marked. A gunsmith couldn't find the correct breech bolt to replace the lost one. Best guess is that mine is some sort interim configuration change.

Bottom line is that was some sort of breechbolt change in the series.
