Real world price of Chinese 7.62x39 ammo

Asking prices for this steel core ammo seems to be all over the place.
I haven't found any closed auctions to judge by.
Is there a difference between spam can vs repackaged vs loose round prices?
Has anyone hard data on market prices?

  A guy is selling loose 20rds for 9.00 on the AR15 forums and they are actually selling them. Not sure on the other real world prices, start them at a 1.00 and you will get fair market value.

  If you have it in the wooden cases with the two spam cans, packed on SKS stripper clips, it would bring the most money. Before the ban use to buy a lot of it dirt cheap, for blasting ammo. Unbelievable that it's selling 20 @$9.00. Sure wished I stashed away 2 or 3 of those wooden cases.

  Dunno about the Chinese stuff, I haven't seen it on shelves where I live in a bit. Russian Tula is 4.99-20 about every 3 weeks or so.
