Had somebody email me about a kris konvertor. Looks like that may be a good option

Check with Brownells. I seem to recall a conversion cylinder. Looked like a simple swap out deal. A bit pricey, and not sure if available for your particular revolver, but worth a look.
    Good luck.

I haven't see offers for coversion cylinders for the Walker only for the one or two of the more common civil war type black powder revolvers. The problem as I see it for the more powerful versions of the Colt guns is the lack of a top strap which makes for an inherent design weakness. As I like my fingers and such, IMO, I would only be willing to use factory loaded ammo in a converted blackpowder Remington copy as that design is where the contained cylinder design became popular. If you are willing to handload low power cartridges then good luck with the project. A couple of decades back I worked for a while on duplicating the Colt conversion process on a Uberti 1851 Navy. I ended up with a nice non shooting wall hanger. The timing of the duplicate cylinder being what killed the project. Still I understand the facination....
