    Hello Ya'll
I have a full choke 410 shotgun, is it recommended to shoot 410 slugs out of a full choke gun? Will this damage the gun? Thankyou Beltfed

there is an outfit called paraklese that loads a 168gr slug..the buck shot loads that contain 3 to 4 buck balls are heavy loads

Same general difference between 12 gauge 2 ounce shot loads and 1 ounce slugs.

I know the Foster style slugs use solid nose/hollow skirt to fly straight(er) when used in smoothbore barrels, as the rifling on the sides doesn't do it. It's like a badminton shuttlecock. I'm guessing that the most accurate design they came up with in the various bore sizes are the weights we commonly see (plus the hollow end isn't made of lead). There are weight variances, some makers load heavier or lighter ones, but the 1oz 12 ga or 1/4 oz .410's are common.

In rifled shotgun barrels the sabot can be used, but those slugs are also lighter than the Fosters.
