Dunno. My bank has the same online feature. So long as the program recognizes a keystroke, it will set [to re-start the countdown from 20 minutes, for instance]. Each time a key-stroke is sensed, it will re-set back up to the twenty minute countdown, and start all over.

I think GB can change the time..but they won't eliminate the feature.

Let's say someone passes out at the keyboard. Or forgets. GB doesn't want unauthorized access to a 'secure to you' area. GB can't control the enviornment that the buyer/seller is in when they log-in.

Not sure how the folks at Kennesaw came to that particular number of minutes, tho....perhaps time-clocks in the mens room stalls?

When you start to list an item, or modify a listing, or......just about anything else, you are participating in a "session". Everyone with an Internet application limits the inactivity time of every session; otherwise, it ties up the server (which costs money), & could compromise your security if you left your computer unattended.

But, your computer probably has limits that YOU put in. Go to Start/R click on your desktop/Properties/Screen Saver/Power, & you probably have your computer go to sleep after 10-15 minutes of inactivity, which would terminate any session you had been working on.
