Winchester 70 stock SA needed

Hi, Will a post 64 and a classic action both work in the same stock. I need one for a SA post 64(250 Savage), but it not the classic action. So I need to know what to look for exactly.

  I believe the classic and the push feed are the same basic action
  only the classic has the claw extractor so any short action should
  work as all pre 64's were long action.

  Actually you want a post 85 stock for a short action . Prior to 85 there was only one action length !

  Distance between screw holes governs which.
  Some post 64 use large action with magazine box spacer to reduce to 308 length ctg.
  Also blind mag and type of triggerguard need to match up or you need conversion parts.
