PTR 91 bolt closing

I just have to "let it go" for it to close,,,or it lacks a little bit and won't fire,,,,very lows rounds through it...Normal or not? thanks[:I]

  Absolutely normal for the H&K 91 type rifle. It was designed as a battle rifle and the closing drill from manually locked open with the cocking handle in the locking notch is to slap the cocking handle to the left and let it slam closed. New or old they are intended for this kind of operation.

  Thanks for the info,,its been since the 80s since I had a German 91 and could not remember if that was the case.. The thing functions flawless and spits out the brass a mile.![:)]
