Acetone and compressed air. Be sure to do it outside if possible and wear protective clothing and eye protection. Both Kroil and Acetone are very toxic and dangerous, mixing them together might generate poisonous fumes. 0 -
Acetone is overkill, extremely flammable, and will dissolve more than just the Kroil.
Get a can of spray brake cleaner, non flammable, made to clean oil, and usually won't dissolve everything it comes in contact with.0 -

I have a Sure-Shot 16 oz. Stainless Steel atomizer that I keep filled with Laquer thinner . It's what I use to degrease guns before refinishing . They come with extra nozzles and other parts , you can air them up to 125 PSI . You can buy the 1Qt. ones at most autobody supply stores . The pint ones you can buy online , they are pretty handy ! 0 -
I'd like to know where you put it. I use Kroil too & don't want to have the same problem.
What are some places Kroil shouldn't be used?
Thanks, Leonard.0 -
I cant believe You ever admitted you made a mistake to this group [}:)][;)][:0]. Only place I can think of not to use Kroil is a TROJAN[;)]just what TOOL did you put it on inquiring minds want to know[:D] 0 -

Carbon tectacloride with a toothbrush...

used it on a forster case trimmer 0 -
used it on a forster case trimmer
Can't imagine that being a problem unless the Kroil loosened up some shavings that had been held out of harms way by some old oil/grease.
Maybe you need a bit more Kroil, not less. Get it REALLY clean???0
