colt alaskan/ and thank you
First of all I would like to think all the well wishers for when my dad had his surgery. Bad news is he lost his fight with the cancer jan 2 2012. I am looking for parts to an 1902 alaskan that I recieved from him so I can get it back to firing shape. I have looked in numrich and they are sold out any other suggestions would be welcomed. I need a sear spring, latch spring and a strut and hand spring any help would be appreciated.

Try www.coltparts.com
They are in Vancouver Washington, lots of parts and good folks to do business with.

GOOGLE, Jack First, gun parts. He doesn't have a on-line site. You will have to call his customer service folks. 0 -
Thanks for the suggestions but they don't have what I need either. Will keep trying but thank you so much. 0 -
If my memory is correct, the alaskan is an 1878 with a larger trigger guard. Wisner's makes and has new springs for the 1878. Check them out.
Sorry about your dad...0
