I have a 228 with a 13rnd mag. I'm thinking of selling it. I know what it's worth book value, I'm looking to get $400.00, but what should I expect to get from a dealer. I'm thinking around $300.00, and I'm not selling for that much. Any ideas, should I private sale it?? Thanks

  i have a sig 228 that the slide needs refinished. does the value differ from where the gun was made? Germany or west Germany. mine is w-germany. markings on bottom show was made in 1990. thanks

  Some say the values are different. I haven't seen it.
  Find someone that does K-G guncoat. I had one done and it matched the factory finish very good.
